01. Scope and contact
This policy explains how Idle Hunter handles information through its Discord bot and this website. The Idle Hunter operator is responsible for the bot’s data practices. For privacy questions or requests, contact the maintainers through the support server. Discord handles its own platform data under its Privacy Policy.
02. Information the bot processes
- Discord identifiers: your user ID, username, and server identifiers associated with gameplay. Discord interactions can also include channel and message identifiers needed to respond.
- Game account: levels, XP, coins, gems, inventory, equipment, catches, achievements, badges, titles, quests, boosts, vehicles, and preferences.
- Activity: cooldowns, timestamps, daily streaks, game outcomes, purchases with virtual currency, and gameplay logs or statistics.
- Social features: tribe membership, roles, invitations, names and descriptions, gifts, and in-game mail status.
- Safety and support: verification state, warnings, bans, appeals, administrative audit records, and information you send to maintainers.
03. Messages and sensitive information
The bot receives commands, interactions, and content you submit to its features. Its Discord configuration enables message-content access; do not treat messages accessible to the bot as a private channel. The reviewed implementation does not establish general chat-history archiving. Do not submit passwords, payment-card information, government identification, or other sensitive information to the bot or public support channels.
04. Why information is used
Information is used to maintain your game account, run commands and events, calculate rewards and leaderboards, support tribes and gifts, remember preferences, prevent cheating, handle appeals, troubleshoot failures, and protect the service. Where a legal basis is required, these purposes may rely on performing the service you request, legitimate interests in maintaining a fair and secure game, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required.
05. What other people can see
Your username, selected profile details, progression, badges, titles, rankings, tribe information, and other game results may appear in bot responses or leaderboards. The public website shows the top 100 hunter names and scores for level, coins, prestige and animals caught, plus tribe names and levels. The bot sends these public rankings over HTTPS to the website about once per minute. The website keeps the latest rankings in memory until replaced or the service restarts; public visitors can read them through the leaderboard page and its data endpoint. Visibility depends on the feature and the Discord channel where it is used. Other users may retain messages or screenshots. Avoid placing private information in public profile or tribe fields.
06. Sharing and service providers
Discord processes interactions needed to deliver the bot. Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers may process information needed to run and secure the service. Authorized maintainers may access records for support, maintenance, and moderation. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to address abuse or protect rights. Game data must not be sold or supplied to advertisers or data brokers. Provider locations may differ from your location; applicable safeguards are required where transfer laws apply.
07. Retention and deletion
Game records are kept while needed to provide ongoing gameplay. Stopping play or removing the bot from a server does not itself delete your game account. You can request deletion through support. Maintainers should also review related tribe, gift, moderation, log, and backup records when processing a request; resetting progress is not the same as deleting all personal data. Limited records may need to be retained for security, dispute handling, or legal obligations and should be restricted and removed when no longer necessary. Any backup retention or deletion delay should be explained when handling your request.
08. Your choices and requests
You can stop interacting with the bot, change available in-game preferences, and ask support to access, correct, or delete your information. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to your local data-protection authority. To request help, identify your Discord user ID and the request in a private conversation with a maintainer. We may need to verify control of the account. Do not post identity documents publicly. Requests should be handled within applicable legal deadlines. Deletion may permanently remove game progress, and using the bot again may create a new account.
09. Website cookies and technical data
This static website has no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, submission forms, or application cookies, and does not use browser local storage. Catalog searches run locally in your browser. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; those requests disclose technical information such as your IP address and browser request details to Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Its hosting provider may process IP addresses, request details, browser information, and security logs to serve and protect the site. Opening a Discord link takes you to a separate service with its own policies. Hosting-level logging and retention depend on the provider selected by the operator.
10. Security and younger users
Access to game records should be limited to authorized maintainers and necessary providers. No online system can guarantee complete security. Report suspected exposure privately through support. Idle Hunter is not intended for children under 13 or anyone below Discord’s applicable minimum age. If you believe an ineligible child has provided information, contact support so it can be reviewed and removed as appropriate.
11. Policy updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in features or data handling. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes should be announced through the bot or support community, with additional notice or consent where required.
